isn't it weird how if you get up at 7 or 8, do your work all day, then have free time and go to bed at 11 that's absolutely fine
but if i said i get up at 10, do fun stuff in the morning then work in the evening and go to bed late, i could be called lazy, nevermind that i'm getting just as much or MORE work done as i would in a traditional work day
#ramble#idk if this is a me problem or not#i've tried to do the early rise early bed thing again and again and it just does not work for me doing freelance right now#maybe it's bc i used to work at a bar so i'm more comfortable being active in the evening#i love working at night because there's less going on to distract me#what used to happen is i would get up early then fight executive dysfunction all day saying i couldn't do fun stuff until i did my work#then my will to work would hit at 10pm and i'd be up till 2am anyway#right now my routine is waking up later and playing a game or knitting for an hour or so and then working in the afternoon and evening#something something capitalism and 9-5 and adhd don't go together#this sounds like i'm just making excuses but it works and i'm actually getting shit done and sleeping enough so i don't see the problem#i just figured i'm probably going to sit and do nothing for a few hours in the morning anyway so i might as well give myself permission to

#I just realized that some of the dates aren't coinciding. The current Beatrix is from Season 3 and not Year 4038.#It is likely that Year 4038 was the year she woke up after her slumber cycle and also the same year she met Hunter.#He was definitely much different before her! Not as welcoming or laid-back as he's seen later on in the story.#After becoming Hunter‚ he joined rescue teams in Fusionsprunt city in a desperate attempt to fix his mistakes.#He got increasingly depressed over the few months he worked there but managed to solve a few cases and even get his job as a technician.#Aloof and irritable. He was constantly on the edge and paranoid about having his identity discovered.#He would exhaust himself hours on end because of his guilt‚ which would result in accumulated stress and bleeding.#After he found Guto‚ he was forced to change his lifestyle and bad habits into healthier ones for him.#You could say the guilt still weighted heavily on his shoulders‚ but Hunter certainly started taking care of himself again.#fusionsprunt#fusionsprunt hunter

it´s honestly so hard for me to even finish 15-30h games let alone 100h+ games because i get maybe 2-3h a night to game and the pacing of most games makes that feel extremely frustrating.
at this point i´m begging for more 1-6h games
#itch.io 20min horror games save me. i´m counting on you for my gaming enrichment.#i´m not saying that making long games is inherently bad because i know there are people who enjoy putting hundreds of hours into them#i just got too much going on with work. chores and pets to take care of to invest that time.#i prefer to enjoy games like a long movie if that makes sense. just sit down for a few hours for a day or two.#rip to all the 20-30h games i got 6-8h into and than was too busy to finish but now it´s awkward to pick them back up so i´d have to start#from the beginning but like. i´ll just get 6h in and than drop it again#honestly that´s why i love the resi games because most are just long enough to make it a fun weekend activity#elden ring is the worst for feeling like 2-3h are worth nothing because you won´t even get to finish that one (1) task you had in mind
